This is a beautiful vintage salad bowl set that has been refinished with Shou Sugi Ban. We sanded the set down and stained in an Indigo stain. Once dried we burned the set to basically seal in the color and refinished with virgin coconut oil so it's food safe. The color is beautiful, it's a deep and rich blue black. The set comes with one large salad bowl and 4 serving bowls.
