Shou Sugi Ban

A unique collection of vintage wood platters, bowls and mirrors that have been up cycled by applying the ancient Japanese art of Shou Sugi Ban, burning wood. The first few layers of the wood are burned and then brushed to get rid of any soot. Once the piece is thoroughly cleaned we finish each piece in virgin coconut oil for the safest sealer.
